Labdara offers its residents a setting of familiarity with Lithuanian language, culture, customs, celebrations, food and worship. Constructed with community support spearheaded by the Lithuanian Community Association of Toronto (LCAT), and operated by the Labdara Foundation, it continues to faithfully serve the needs of the aging Lithuanian community. We are dedicated to serving the needs of our residents and meeting the demands of a growing senior population with care and compassion.

Constructed with community support spearheaded by the Lithuanian Community Association of Toronto (LCAT), and operated by the Labdara Foundation, it continues to faithfully serve the needs of the aging Lithuanian community. We are dedicated to serving the needs of our residents and meeting the demands of a growing senior population with care and compassion.

Many staff members are able to converse with residents in the Lithuanian language.

Our volunteers ensure that our residents are enriched with additional programs such as choir recitals, baking sessions etc.

Resident Care & Services

The interior of the building provides a warm and comfortable environment for the seniors living at Labdara. There are 90 beds across 3 floors with common dining rooms and resident lounges on each floor. 54 beds are in single rooms with private bathroom and 36 beds are in 18 double rooms with a shared bathroom. All residents are encouraged to bring their favourite personal belongings including artwork in order to personalize their rooms.
